All About Tohfa

Empowering Indian Artisans and
Promoting Sustainable Living

When my mother lost her job at the age of 50, I wanted her to do something she truly enjoyed instead of running after jobs. That's how Tohfa began. We started by organizing a small exhibition of utility products that she stitched at home and invited friends and family. The positive response gave us the confidence to take the leap and start our journey.

Our mission has always been to promote authentic Indian weaves and empower artisans in India by sourcing our fabrics from them. We have also employed local women in skill development, and over the years, they have joined us in our initiative by stitching these products for us. Today, Tohfa is a team of eight women, and we are hoping to grow stronger.

We also strive to promote a plastic-free life by providing 100% fabric-based alternatives to plastic products that people use. Our ultimate goal is to make a positive impact on people and the planet.
Join us in our journey towards sustainability and empowering local artisans.
